25 test strips for the determination of triglycerides from capillary blood.
Triglyceride measurements will give your doctor information about your lipid metabolism. This information serves as a basis for further diagnostic measures, therapeutic decisions or for monitoring the patient’s development. Self-monitoring cannot be seen as a substitute for regular monitoring by your doctor. The results of self-monitoring should be recorded and consulted with a physician.
Each test strip has a test area containing the detection reagent. After the blood is applied, a chemical reaction occurs and the test area changes color. The instrument records this color change and converts the measurement signal to the displayed result using the data previously entered using the coding strip.
Increased intake of vitamin C from fruits and vegetables does not affect the detection response of triglycerides.
