Undofen Amorolfine medicated nail polish is an antifungal medicine for topical use. Undofen Amorolfine is used for onychomycosis caused by dermatophytes, yeasts and molds and restricted to two nails and the upper and side parts of these nails.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The drug should be applied externally to diseased nails. The effectiveness of the treatment should be assessed every 3 months (on the regrown nail plate).

Undofen Amorolfine is applied once a week to the filed and degreased surface of diseased nails (hands and / or feet). The varnish should be applied continuously until the infection disappears, i.e. the healthy nail grows. The duration of treatment depends on the severity and location of the infection. In the case of hands, the duration of therapy is about 6 months, and for feet, 9 to 12 months.

Contraindications
Do not use Undofen Amorolfine varnish in people who are allergic to amorolfine or any of the other ingredients of the drug.

Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Lek należy stosować zewnętrznie, na chore paznokcie. Skuteczność leczenia należy oceniać co 3 miesiące (na odrośniętej płytce paznokcia).
Dawkowanie i szczegółowy opis stosowania leku znajduje się w ulotce dołączonej do opakowania. Lek Undofen Amorolfina stosuje się raz w tygodniu na opiłowaną i odtłuszczoną powierzchnię chorych paznokci (rąk i/lub stóp). Lakier należy stosować ciągle do momentu zaniku zakażenia, czyli wzrostu zdrowego paznokcia. Czas trwania leczenia zależy od nasilenia oraz położenia zakażenia. W przypadku rąk czas trwania terapii to około 6 miesięcy, a stóp 9 do 12 miesięcy.
Działanie
Amorolfina zawarta w lakierze działa przeciwgrzybiczo. Undofen Amorolfina działa na różnego rodzaju grzyby wywołujące grzybicę paznokci, jak: dermatofity, drożdżaki i pleśnie.

Lek Undofen Amorolfina stosuje się na grzybicę paznokci wywołaną przez dermatofity, drożdżaki i pleśnie oraz ograniczone do dwóch paznokci oraz do górnych i bocznych części tych paznokci. Wskazaniem do zastosowania lakieru leczniczego jest też grzybicze zakażenie płytki paznokciowej ze zmianą koloru płytki paznokcia (przebarwienia koloru białego, żółtego lub brązowego) lub zgrubieniem płytki.
Przeciwwskazania
Nie stosować lakieru leczniczego Undofen Amorolfina u osób uczulonych na amorolfinę lub którykolwiek z pozostałych składników leku.
