Dosage and Posology
The drug should be taken according to the following doses and methods in adults and children over 8 years of age and weighing more than 20 kg: the daily dose must be adjusted according to the clinical effect obtained and can vary from one sachet to alternate days (especially in children) up to 2 sachets per day. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage of 20 g of macrogol. The indicated dose should be adjusted based on individual response. The correct dose is the minimum sufficient to produce an easy evacuation of soft faeces.
It is advisable to initially use the minimum doses provided. When necessary, the dose can then be increased, but without ever exceeding the maximum indicated. The daily dose can be taken in one or two fractions, away from meals. If a sachet is to be taken, it must be taken in the morning. If you have to take more sachets, it will be necessary to divide the doses between morning and evening.
The effect of Regolint manifests itself in the 24-48 hours following its administration. Sometimes it can take two days (or more) before obtaining the desired effect. In this case, continue the treatment bearing in mind, however, that laxatives must be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days. Use for longer periods of time requires a doctor’s prescription after adequate evaluation of the individual case. In children, in the absence of clinical data on dosing periods longer than three months, treatment should not exceed three months. Dissolve the contents of one sachet in at least 125 ml (equal to a glass) of water. Do not add other ingredients. It is preferable to drink the entire quantity fairly quickly (within a few minutes), avoiding sipping it for a long time. A diet rich in liquids favors the effect of the medicine. The regularization of intestinal motility induced by the treatment must be maintained with a healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition.

Dosaggio e Posologia
Il farmaco va assunto secondo le seguenti dosi e modalità negli adulti e bambini di età superiore ad 8 anni e di peso superiore ai 20 kg: la dose giornaliera deve essere adattata in base all’effetto clinico ottenuto e può variare da una bustina a giorni alterni (soprattutto nei bambini) fino a 2 bustine al giorno. Non superare il dosaggio massimo giornaliero di 20 g di macrogol. La dose indicata deve essere aggiustata in base alla risposta individuale. La dose corretta è quella minima sufficiente a produrre una facile evacuazione di feci molli.
E’ consigliabile usare inizialmente le dosi minime previste. Quando necessario, la dose può essere poi aumentata, ma senza mai superare quella massima indicata. La dose giornaliera può essere assunta in una o due frazioni, lontano dai pasti. Nel caso si debba assumere una bustina, l’assunzione deve avvenire al mattino. Nel caso si debbano assumere più bustine, occorrerà suddividere le dosi tra mattino e sera.
L’effetto di Regolint si manifesta nelle 24-48 ore successive la sua somministrazione. A volte possono essere necessari due giorni (o più) prima di ottenere l’effetto desiderato. Proseguire in tal caso il trattamento tenendo presente, comunque, che i lassativi devono essere usati il meno frequentemente possibile e per non più di sette giorni. L’uso per periodi di tempo maggiori richiede la prescrizione del medico dopo adeguata valutazione del singolo caso. Nei bambini, in assenza di dati clinici su periodi di somministrazione superiori a tre mesi, il trattamento non deve superare i tre mesi. Disciogliere il contenuto di una bustina in almeno 125 ml (pari ad un bicchiere) di acqua. Non aggiungere altri ingredienti. E’ preferibile bere l’intera quantità abbastanza rapidamente (nel giro di pochi minuti) evitando di sorseggiarla per lungo tempo. Una dieta ricca di liquidi favorisce l’effetto del medicinale. La regolarizzazione della motilità intestinale indotta dal trattamento va mantenuta con uno stile di vita sano ed una corretta alimentazione.
